Submit your abstract<\/strong>: We invite members to contribute to the conversation by submitting abstracts related to the theme. We welcome any reflections on the journey and impact of this significant piece of legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADJASA\u2019s 2022 \/ 2023 Conference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ADJASA hosted its conference and regular general meeting at the Salt Rock Hotel in Ballito, KwaZulu Natal from 18 to 20 August 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference was ADJASA\u2019s first in-person event since 2019, and included three days of thought-provoking presentations by leading public law academics and practitioners. The conference underscored the importance of strong ethics and accountability in the public administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A highlight of the conference was an engaging discussion between Professors Hugh Corder and Cora Hoexter who reminisced about \u2018The PAJA, 1999\u20132022: Its drafting and its subsequent fate\u2019<\/em>. Both served on the project committee established to draft the Promotion of Administrative Justice Act (PAJA) in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
